A letter from Finland...

Since I didn't have much to blog about today (I haven't had any incoming mail recently) I thought it would show you the  first pen pal letter I ever received. Do you still have the first pen pal letter you received?

I remember writing my first letter a few days before Christmas. They had a pen pal exchange in school during that time and it got me inspired to go and look for my own pen pal. With that I signed up to Interpals and away I was. I only had 3 pen pals to start with, I still write to two of them, at least :)

It's really a nice feeling to get your first pen pal letter. I'm sure I spent a long time examining the stamp, letter paper, airmail sticker... Something I don't really do much any more, When I look at old pen pal letters I often feel bad that I don't spend more time appreciating the ones I receive now.
